Brief Description

The position of graphic design assistant is to assist in content creation and posting based on creative directives for BAMP Clients.


Tasks

Enter Client project orders into tracking software.
Social Media Design: Develop eye-catching and on-brand graphics, images, and layouts for various social media platforms (mainly Facebook, Instagram, YouTube & LinkedIn), ensuring that each post effectively communicates the intended message and resonates with the target audience.
Content Curation: Research, gather, and select relevant visual assets, including images, icons, and fonts, to enhance the quality and appeal of social media content.
Branding Consistency: Maintain consistent brand elements and design standards across all social media posts to strengthen brand recognition and cohesion. Utilize and help create BAMP-issued Style Guides when assigned.
Copy Integration: Collaborate with the team to seamlessly integrate text, captions, and hashtags into your designs, enhancing the overall impact of each post, as well as utilize other business assets and Chat AI to create error-free published posts.
Scheduling and Posting: Assist in scheduling and posting social media content on various platforms using scheduling tools, ensuring timely, error-free and consistent delivery of content.
Creative Ideation: Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh and innovative ideas for social media campaigns and visual concepts.
Image Editing and Enhancement: Capture, retouch and enhance images as needed to ensure a polished and professional appearance.
Adaptation and Flexibility: Be adaptable and responsive to design changes, feedback, and evolving project requirements, effectively managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Other Tasks: Collaborate with the marketing team on additional design projects and tasks as assigned, potentially including website graphics, marketing collateral, and more. More tasks may be assigned based on workload, proficiency and time of year.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

Employee must have:
High school diploma or equivalent;
Ability to effectively listen and communicate details with others;
Ability to learn and adapt quickly;
A portfolio showcasing previous design work, with an emphasis on social media content, is required.
Proven experience in graphic design, particularly in creating social media content (minimum one year).
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and design best practices.
Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and layout.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment, or communicate with clients via phone call, physical meeting, and email.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Express outstanding integrity and respect to everyone without exception;
Ability to maintain complete discretion of proprietary information involved in job; and the
Ability to problem-solve, think critically and ask questions.

Potential tasks upon successful acclimation to job

Monitor social media accounts for BAMP and Clients;
Respond to comments with direction of BAMP,
Schedule posts for BAMP and Clients according to current marketing objectives.
Order products for Clients
Promotional items
Signage
Apparel
Etc.
Provide estimates to Clients
